Scott DePasquale of Braemar Energy Ventures, Peter Dorsey of the Business Development Company, and Cynthia Reed of LTR Holdings shared their insights on what investors want to learn from a first meeting with entrepreneurs seeking funding. The most important thing that entrepreneurs should do, they said, is establish their credibility in order to be invited back to a second meeting so that both parties can delve deeper into the business proposal.
